Lost Children
Golowan becomes very busy, and we ask that you keep your children close. We recommend that children under the age of 16 be accompanied by an adult. Make sure they have your mobile phone number on them, even write it on their arm! If you lose your child, please contact a Golowan steward, tell your child to do the same. Look out for their identification tag and Golowan t-shirt or hi-viz vest/jacket.
Travelling
If you come by car, to avoid congestion and long queues, we recommend you parkin the spacious St Erth train station car park and take the train for the one stop to Penzance, a short walk to the festival.
By Train: Great Western Railway are now Golowan’s Official Travel Partner. You can book your train from their website here. Penzance train station is a short 5-minute walk to the festival.
By Bus: Buses operate into and out of the bus station (next to the train station and a 5-minute walk to the Festival). Check with the service provider for up-to-date information.
By Car: Follow the A30 to Penzance and follow signs for car parking. Car Parks: Free parking is available at Penwith College (8am to 9pm), on a first come, first served basis. The other paid-for car park is at the Wharf side Car Park next to the bus and train station. The Greenmarket and St Anthony’s car parks will not be available.
